Written by Edoardo Nalon

Improved Site Selector

We have listend to your feedback and have now fine tuned the site selector to better accommodate various users needs. Watch the video for a short walkthrough:

Database Backup & Restore

This service is intended to be used by technicians or those responsible for maintaining system operation.

Database Backup and Restore increase the operational safety and reliability by offering the capability to backup or restore the databases of your gateway units. The combination of immediate and scheduled backup options offers supermarkets operational peace of mind, ensuring timely backups of their controllers for both spontaneous incidents and planned security measures.

You can store up to 4 backups per controller, and in the event of additional backups, the oldest one will be overwritten. Want to see the features in action? Then we recommend you to watch these videos:

Setpoint Benchmarking

With the January release we introduced our new feature called Setpoint Benchmarking (you can find more information here). We have now released two small enhancements to this feature to allow you to add a cost factor to a setpoint deviation and the ability to challenge setpoint deviations via Email, check out below videos for more details.

Cost factor analysis

We are pleased to introduce our new feature enhancement to Setpoint Benchmarking where we allow you to better prioritize your work by adding a cost factor to a setpoint allowing you to calculate the hourly or yearly cost in case of setpoint deviations.

Challenge Deviation via Email

Another enhancement to Setpoint Benchmarking is the ability to notify others in case of setpoint deviations either via Email or by adding a flag. Watch the video below to learn further details

On Demand Reports

Our generation of On Demand Reports now supports multiple sites or site group selection. Watch the video for a short walkthrough:

CSV Export of Broadcast Details

On the broadcast details page for light and operating hours schedules, we have added the ability for csv exports, this is especially useful in case there are failed Broadcasts which need to be executed in other systems. Note that the csv export option is only shown if the schedule is in completed state and it is a regular Broadcast meaning not recurring or rollback

Known Limitations

Emerson E2

For the Emerson E2 gateway, there are currently the following limitations:

  • Write operations are currently not supported.

  • It is technically impossible to link from Alsense® into the E2 controller using Ultrasite.

  • The ability to ingest telemetry data from Enhanced circuits or Multiflex I/O boards is not supported.

  • Our Maintenance features DB backup, DB restore and software update is not supported
