Alsense® release notes (October 2023)

Written by Edoardo Nalon

Here's a glimpse of some of the updates, which we are introducing with the Alsense® October release.

Reporting

Creating schedules for site groups

When creating a reporting schedule, it is now possible to not only choose individual sites, but also to take advantage of site groups.

Who can create site groups?

Customer admins can create site groups for their organization, if you want to learn more about creating site groups, please contact support

Updates to Alarm Dashboard

Filtering

The filtering on the alarm dashboard has been updated, so that it is now possible to also filter on sites as well as on Alarm status:

Alarm audit log

We have started to enable content on the alarm audit log module, which we introduced a few releases ago.

When we receive an alarm or a status update to an existing alarm from the connected store, it goes into our internal Alarm ingestor. The audit log will show this information for the following actions:

  • Alarm received

  • Alarm occurrence received

  • Acknowledged alarm

  • Cleared alarm

In Alsense® it looks like this with “changed by” being the ALARM-INGESTOR

Upcoming features

We also have some quite exiting features released as Beta versions, like the ability to perform controller backup & restore, benchmarking of assets, broadcasts of setpoints either on demand or via a schedule, and the ability to park, acknowledge and comment on alarms all directly via Alsense®. If you want to learn more about these features, please reach out to us
