This dashboard can be considered the ‘Address Book’ for Alsense®.
By default, when selecting the Sites Overview option from the menu, the dashboard will display all sites within the selected organization.
Each site will be listed and include the Site Name, Address, Gateway Type, Status, whether the Health Check is enabled for the site, the most recent time Alsense® connected to the site ( Last Connection) and an ‘Actions’ column.
The ‘Actions’ column informs the user if they can connect directly from this dashboard to the in-store primary System Manager. When the ‘Go to site’ message appears, it means the user can open the Storeview Web application directly which provides a virtual tunnel into the primary gateway to view the site data in real-time.
This action can only be done for one store at a time.
The dashboard also has some additional features to enhance the user experience.
Each of the rows can be expanded to show further information about the selected site. This includes a visual map showing the actual location of the site, and information relating to the number and type of gateways installed and their software versions. This information is valuable to identify if there are inconsistencies in the software versions which could cause additional issues in reliability.
The Health Check will also help to identify such alerts as having inconsistent software versions in different System Managers. However, if this feature has not been enabled then this information will not be visible in the user interface. However, within the ‘Last Connection’ column, green and yellow icons will highlight whether there are active Health Check alerts for this site, or whether everything is operating as expected.
In order to view these alerts, the Health Check service needs to be enabled, learn more about the Health Check feature in this article: Health Check

This service provides seamless access for the user to go directly from Alsense® into the site controller (without the need for a secondary login).
The service requires the proxy server to be deployed (in the cloud, so no onsite installation required) to verify the user's credentials before granting access to the System Manager.
If this service is enabled for the user, the ‘Go to site’ link will appear across several dashboards (as shown here) where it makes logical sense that the user journey could require access to the controller to support further diagnosis of an issue highlighted in the dashboard.
The management of the user permission that grants access to both use this feature and to access the controller (read-only or read & write) is managed in Alsense®. This is an effective way of ensuring only the approved users can make remote changes in the System Manager.
