The Setpoint Verification module provides you with a simple overview of all temperature setpoints for your refrigerated cabinets (also the ward cabinets, bakery, etc.).
Here you can discover any changes to the initially configured setpoints and see if the new setpoints are out of range. You´ll also be provided with a complete audit trail of any setpoint changes and who made those changes.
When you are looking at this dashboard, ideally you would like to see the “Deviation Breakdown” at 100% normal. This would mean that there have been no changes (or very minimal changes) in the setpoint values that were initially set.
In many cases, we know that the customers could change their setpoints slightly lower, by let’s say 1 degree Celsius, to achieve the desired temperature when a store is busy. Moreover, during the night it could happen the opposite, where the customer increases slightly the setpoint since the temperature can be kept easily as the store is not busy. This small deviation would not show up at all in the Deviation breakdown column if they are in the temperature range given by the customer. Some customers want to have a strict deviation of only +-1 degree Celsius from the initially configured setpoint whereas others prefer a slightly looser one. It all depends how accurate you want to be and close to “perfect”.
Let’s have a look be low at a good example:
What makes it a good example?
· Most stores are at 100% normal deviation.
· The stores that are not at 100% normal deviation are at least at 90%+ and with very small deviation when we check the individual cabinets in the store(s).
Let’s now have a look at a not so good example:
What is wrong here?
· Many sites are well below 90% normal deviation.
· When we look inside an individual site, we can spot some cabinets with very high deviation.
It is important to note here, that it could very well be a normal operation to alter the setpoint after changing the product inside the cabinet. However, in that case, both the food type and the Min/Max range of the setpoint should be updated & adjusted accordingly.
