How to Clear Browser Cache
How to Clear Browser Cache
What Is Browser Cache?
Browser cache is a storage area in the web browser where website data is stored temporarily to speed up future visits, resulting in an improved experience.
All major browsers, including Chrome, Firefox and Microsoft Edge, save certain website data, including cookies, internet browsing history, and cache. Although they are beneficial for the browsing experience, the cache can sometimes cause loading or formatting errors.
For Alsense® these problems usually occur due to the differences between the current Alsense® data (if we have released some new things) and the cached Alsense® data on the user's browser. In this case, clearing the browser cache can fix the errors.
Below we will describe the detailed steps of how to clear the browser cache for the Alsense® domain only. While we have used screenshots for Edge, the process is very similar for Chrome and Firefox, too.
On your browser press "ctr and shift and i" on your keyboard at the same time, which will open the developer view.
Select "Storage" and choose "Application" and next "clear site data", as can be shown from below screenshot:
3. Next navigate to "Network" and check/enable the "Disable cache" check-box:
4. Reload Alsense® (press "ctr and r" on your keyboard) and you should see the affect immediately.
5. Remove the "Disable cache" check-mark again.
